The number of homes sold in Placer County hit an all-time high in March 2015. With 520 closed sales, March 2015 has surpassed every March in history for Placer County.
Roseville led the way with 188 closed sales compared with 156 in March 2014. Lincoln followed with 114 closed sales compared to 105 last year. Rocklin closed 89 in March compared with 71 last year. In fact, every area in Placer County handily outpaced last years’ numbers except for the Loomis/Penryn area which closed 15 properties this year compared to 19 last year in March, with year-to-date figures of 36 sales versus 39 last year.
The number of available listings remains at levels very close to last year, while the median price for all of Placer County has jumped slightly from $365,000 in March 2014 to $380,00 in March 2015.
