PCAR Foundation presents 8 additional Educational scholarships!

The PCAR Foundation was proud to present 8 more $1,000 educational scholarships to Casey Carr, Whitney High, Jenna Cho, Kacie Dorris, Lauren Jonk, Ma Lara Ocumen, Kiara Lazaro, Skylar Williams and Hannah Stevenson from Lincoln High School at last Wednesday’s Lincoln Joint Marketing Meeting at the Orchard Creek Lodge at Sun City Lincoln. PCAR Foundation President, Kim Tucker, and PCAR Foundation Directors, Randy Carter, Bryan Keeter, Steve Smith and Kevin McDonald congratulated each one and gave them their own moment at the microphone. A total of 38 applications were submitted to the PCAR Foundation Board of Directors. A total of 9 recipients received a scholarship. It is truly heartwarming to see our Association making a difference in these young students lives and helping to prepare them for their future. Again, congratulations to Casey Carr, Jenna Cho, Kacie Dorris, Lauren Jonk, Ma Lara Ocumen, Kiara Lazaro, Skylar Williams and Hannah Stevenson. The PCAR Foundation and the Placer County Association of REALTORS wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors. The PCAR Foundation, Inc. was created in 2011 for the purpose of providing: 1)charitable support to local Placer County 501c3 charities that provide food, clothing, shelter and/or mental health services; and 2)educational scholarships for Placer County students. Summer Food Drive-Help us Stock up the Pantry’s

The need is high for food in Placer County just as much in the summer as the holiday’s. PCAR’s Affiliate Committee has launched it’s first annual Summer Food Drive running through the end of August. Food donated will go to the Auburn and Roseville Salvation Army and food donated in Lincoln will go to the Salt Mine. Help us stock up the pantry’s!
