West Roseville Specific Plan Conveyance Fees

24 Jun 2013
This is a quick reminder if you are working with prospective sellers of homes, or lots, in Westpark or Fiddyment Farms on the west side of Fiddyment Road in Roseville. In those neighborhoods there are two types of issues dealing with private property transfer taxes. In the Club, some properties are subject to private property transfer fees to be collected with the transfer of title through escrow. Over the rest of the subdivisions throughout Westpark and Fiddyment Farms, there is a 1/2 of 1 percent of value private property transfer tax collected at the transfer of title for a period of 20 years starting with the first sale of the home, once it is constructed by the builder. You prospective sellers may not be aware of the requirement, and this information might help them decide at what price to list their property. In all cases, you can talk to the Placer Land Trust for more information at (530) 887-9222.
