PCAR GAD Susan Rohan reminds our membership that if you are accepting an obligation from a seller to take care of his/her outdoor landscape while a property is on the market, you might want to take care to avoid exposing the property owner to potential fines for certain activities such as: washing down sidewalks and driveways, watering outdoor landscapes in a manner that causes excess runoff, washing a motor vehicle with a  house that is not fitted with a shut-off nozzle, operating a fountain or decorative water feature that is not a recirculating system, and irrigating turf or ornamental landscapes during a rain event or during the 48 hours following measurable precipitation.
